All three of the rugrats are in school now, with the oldest in 3rd grade, and the other two in a private PreK program. Both schools seem to be doing some good and are helping my children learn. Unfortunately, the oldest is having issues with the reading program. The computer program which tests the school kids reading comprehension apparently won't let anyone read over 'their level'. What that means is my oldest cannot read book 5 of Lemony Snickets for school credit, even though they've already finished the entire series at home. How frustrating.
Hopefully the wife and I will be able to free up some income and then afford to send all the kids to private school.
